Size 3 diapers and size 4 at night
This picture describes what picture taking is like with Dane now.
Developing his "stiff as a board" technique to be used in a future tantrum.
We have a roller. He has been rolling from his front to his back for a few months now and he rolls from his back to his front in both directions. He did it for the first time on 7/12. It is fun to watch him roll across the room to get something he wants. He will also take steps when you hold his hands and he is standing. I'm going to have a walker soon enough!
Ugh, it happened. Dane got sick. It started with a runny nose and quickly developed into fevers, congestion, sneezing, and a cough. I think I might have handled it better if I hadn't also gotten sick. Poor Dane had his fever spike up to 103.5 one morning. We quickly gave him Advil and put him in a cool bath. He screamed and cried. Then I cried. Luckily Aaron didn't get sick and my sister was spending the night so they team treated both of us and calmed my nerves. He got sick on 7/14 and was feeling better three days later. It took me a week and a half to feel better. Having a sick baby was the scariest thing ever. I handled it like a stereotypical first time mom :-)
Dane (and Roan for that matter) is really into our dog Luke now. He can not get enough! Luke has about 2 months left of peace until these boys are mobile enough to start chasing him. Luckily the boys both seem to be pretty gentle with him when they do get to pet him.
Escapee!
We went camping and had so much fun! Dane was the perfect little camper. The fact that he can't walk or crawl helped a lot.
Dane has started giving "loves". He will grab my (or Daddy's) face and give us big open mouth kisses and nuzzle his face against mine. It melts my heart. I adore it.
Likes and dislikes are pretty much the same as last month.
Dane's firsts: First time going camping First time seeing the Temple First time eating veggies
Still best friends:-)
Are these not the two cutest jokers you've ever seen?!
So much for keeping it short.
